Feel understood.

Sometimes the words just won't come. The Reversible Inside-Out Octopus gives children (and plenty of adults) a simple, no-talking-required way to show how they feel: happy face up when things are good, flip it inside out to the grumpy face when they need a bit of space.

At 30cm this is the big, huggable version — large enough to cuddle on the couch, sit on a desk as a mood signal, or keep in a calm corner for check-ins. Each octopus is two colours, one for each mood.

What it feels like
A short, velvety plush that is smooth one way and slightly textured the other as you stroke it. The legs are soft and floppy, and turning it inside out gives busy hands a satisfying push-and-pop to repeat over and over. No weight, no noise, nothing hard to bump into.

Using it for feelings check-ins
Keep it somewhere everyone can see. Agree together what each face means (e.g. happy = "I'm OK", grumpy = "I need some space"), and let your child turn it when they're ready instead of asking them to explain. It is a communication prompt, not a cure-all, but for many families it opens the conversation.

Key Features:

Reversible design — happy face on one side, grumpy face on the other

Flip by pushing the head through the body: an easy, repeatable fidget for hands

Two contrasting colours per octopus, so the mood is visible from across the room

Large 30cm size — big enough to hug, easy to spot on a desk or shelf

Soft, lightweight and quiet

Perfect for:

Emotional check-ins and "how are you feeling?" moments at home or school

Children who find it hard to say how they feel — the octopus says it for them

Calm corners, classroom feelings stations and family "mood shelf" routines

A comforting cuddle at bedtime or after a big day

Teens and adults who love the viral mood octopus (it works on desks at work, too)

Birthday, Christmas and "just because" gifts

Specifications

Size: approx. 30cm across (legs spread)

Material: soft plush fabric with fibre filling

3 assorted colour combinations, each octopus two-toned

Recommended age: 3 years and over

Made in China

📦 Pack Information

Sold individually with swing tag

Available in 3 assorted colour combinations

Please note: designs/colours are sent at random and cannot be guaranteed.
